The raw materials for webbing have gradually developed to nylon, vinylon, polyester, polypropylene, spandex, viscose, etc., forming three major types of weaving, knitting, and knitting technology. The fabric structure includes plain weave, twill, satin weave, jacquard, double-layer, Multi-layer, tubular and joint organization.
Classification of webbing
1) According to material:
Nylon/Tedolong/PP polypropylene/acrylic/cotton/polyester/gold and silver onion/spandex/silk/rayon and so on
The distinction between nylon and PP webbing: generally nylon webbing is woven first and then dyed, so the color of the yarn after cutting will be white due to uneven dyeing, while PP webbing will not have the phenomenon of white yarn because the yarn is dyed first and then woven. In contrast, nylon webbing is shiny and softer than PP webbing. It can also be distinguished by burning chemical reaction; general nylon webbing price is higher than PP webbing.

2) According to the weaving method:
Ribbon plain, twill, satin and miscellaneous three categories. (PP webbing such as plain/small corrugated/twill/safety webbing/pit/bead/jacquard can be divided into 900D/1200D/1600D according to the thickness of its yarn; At the same time, we should pay attention to the thickness of the webbing, which also determines its unit price and toughness.)
3) According to the width specification:
10MM/12MM/15MM/20MM/25MM/30MM/32MM/38MM/50MM, etc.
4) According to the nature of use:
Clothing webbing, shoe material webbing, luggage webbing, safety webbing, other special webbing, etc.
5) According to the characteristics of the webbing itself:
Elastic webbing and rigid webbing (non-elastic webbing) two categories.
6) Process points:
Mainly for the two categories of woven belt and knitted belt. Ribbon, especially jacquard ribbon, is somewhat similar to the cloth marking process, but the warp yarn of the cloth marking is fixed and the pattern is expressed by the weft yarn; while the basic weft yarn of the webbing is fixed, the pattern is expressed by the warp yarn, and a small machine is used. It may take a long time to print, produce the yarn and adjust the machine, and the efficiency is relatively low. But you can make a wide variety of dazzling products, not always like the cloth label as a few faces. The main function of the webbing is decorative, but also functional. Such as the popular mobile phone sling. After the tape is woven, it can also screen all kinds of words/patterns, which is generally cheaper than weaving the words and patterns directly.
Shuttle webbing is mainly divided into two categories: shuttleless webbing and shuttle webbing. Shuttleless webbing is currently on the market compared to the use of the more common.
7) Classification according to characteristics:
A/heat transfer elastic band: hook edge band/clip elastic band/twill elastic band/towel elastic band/new door elastic band/pull frame elastic band/non-slip elastic band/jacquard elastic band
B/Rope category: round rubber rope/needle, PP, low elasticity, acrylic, cotton, hemp rope, etc.
C/knitted belt: due to the special structure, refers to the transverse (dimensional) elastic, mainly used for piping knitted belt
D/letter belt: polypropylene material, letters, bilateral letters, letters round rope, etc.
E/herringbone strap: transparent shoulder strap, yarn strap, thread strap
F/Bag webbing: PP belt, nylon edging belt, cotton webbing, rayon webbing, acrylic webbing, jacquard webbing...
G/Velvet belt: elastic velvet belt, double-sided belt
H/Various cotton lace, lace
T/velvet belt: velvet belt is made of velvet, with a thin layer of wool inlaid on it.
M/printing belt: tailor-made various patterns on the belt.
